NORPAC Foods Launches Blacksmith Suite

Stayton, OR [September 1, 2008] NORPAC Foods has completed a full implementation of Blacksmith Applications FORGE Trade and FORGE Settlement solutions. NORPAC is using Blacksmith's software to manage foodservice trade promotions, validate claims and process deductions. NORPAC's field sales force, brokers, marketing, and collections personnel have been trained on using Blacksmith to enhance their processes.
"We really wanted to get a handle on our promotional spending," said Marketing Director Brad Burden. "We needed a tool that would help us make good decisions about where to spend our resources, and compare apples to apples.
